– AA Frequency Solutions has launched the AAVC1039, an ultra-low phase noise Voltage Controlled Crystal Oscillator (VCXO) designed to meet the increasingly demanding timing and synchronisation requirements of modern communication infrastructure.
The AAVC1039 is targeted at telecommunications, data centres, wireless infrastructure and other high-speed communication applications where stable and reliable timing is essential to overall system performance.
Housed in a compact 14 x 9.8 x 6mm package, the AAVC1039 provides a phase noise specification of -175dBc/Hz at 10kHz offset, making it suitable for applications where signal integrity, timing stability and synchronisation are critical. This new VCXO operates across a -40°C to 95°C temperature range off a 3.3V supply and can be specified with stabilities down ±35ppm, pulling of ±45ppm and output frequencies of 76.8MHz, 100.300MHz, 122.880MHz or 153.6MHz. “Communication infrastructure is evolving rapidly, placing ever-greater demands on timing accuracy and phase noise performance. Our new ultra-low phase noise VCXO has been developed to help designers meet these requirements for next-generation RF and synchronisation applications,” said Anke Allen, Managing Director of AA Frequency Solutions.
