Entities from the microelectronics and semiconductor sector in Portugal.
The Microelectronics Agenda is a major strategic initiative in Portugal, integrated into the Recovery and Resilience Facility, which is funded by the European Union – NextGenerationEU. Its aim is to strengthen the productive capacity and innovation of the national semiconductor and microelectronics industry. Aligned with European priorities, particularly the Chips Joint Undertaking, the initiative seeks to position Portugal as a prominent player in the global microelectronics landscape, in terms of R&D, knowledge sharing, and industrial activity.
The Microelectronics Agenda is led by Amkor Technology Portugal and comprises a consortium of 17 entities, including companies, research centers, universities, and other relevant institutions in the sector.
