SSAIL technology produces copper traces down to 1 µm on any dielectric material

Increasingly higher powers, denser packaging and customization brings new challenges to electronics and semiconductor packaging. SSAIL addresses that by creating Cu traces down to 1 µm width on any dielectric material - glass, ceramics, organic materials, etc. Good adhesion and electrical performance suits demanding applications, fully digital process allows batches of 1 while high throughput enables scalability.
How SSAIL works:

1. Laser patterning with AKO laser machines
2. Chemical activation and Cu plating
3. Cu plates selectively to where laser patterning was done enabling intricate designs
