Synov launches Synov-Proto, opening rapid electronic board prototyping
Lyon, November 1st 2026 - Synov Group announces the launch of Synov-Proto, its online rapid prototyping service for bare and assembled electronic boards. Open to all design offices, manufacturers and hardware start-ups in France, Synov-Proto lets customers order boards online, manufactured in Europe and delivered within 5 to 20 business days, with a direct path to series production in the group's factories.
An electronic board never goes into series production without first going through a prototype. Yet this is where projects most often slow down: several quotes for a handful of units, lead times that are hard to guarantee, design files sent outside Europe for lack of a fast alternative. And when the project moves to industrialization, the file is frequently taken over by another manufacturer, with files to rework, components to requalify and months lost.
Synov-Proto addresses this break. The www.synov-proto.com platform lets customers upload their manufacturing files, get a quote and order online, for bare or assembled boards. Manufacturing takes place in Europe, with delivery within 5 to 20 business days.
The real difference, however, comes after the prototype, when the project moves into series production. Every project prototyped with Synov-Proto can be taken over directly by the group's industrialization teams, who already hold the manufacturing file. Customers keep their project on a single track, from the first board to series production, within one industrial group.
Before its opening, the service was tested for several weeks by our design offices.
"Many of the projects we industrialize start elsewhere. With Synov-Proto, we want to support our customers from their very first board, so that the prototype is designed, from the outset, as the first step in industrialization. It is a concrete way to save development teams time and to secure their projects over the long term," says Alix Joseph, Group Sales Director.
Synov-Proto is deployed internationally in several languages. This launch is part of Synov Group's strategy to support its customers across the entire life cycle of their electronic products, from design to series production and through-life support.
