A new developed platform of X-band long range radars is introduced by RFbeam.
Radars can be combined to cover up to 360 degrees coverage without moving parts. Applications are drone detection and perimeter security.
A small DJI mavic drone can be detected up to 1 km distance and position is informed in distance, speed and angle.
A high end radar processing GPU for multiple objects tracking and clutter suppression is built in. Detections can be further analyzed with AI classification, this technology is often used to decide if it is a drone or another flying object.
Its robust design makes this radar suitable for applications in airport security, critical infrastructure protection and event security, where comprehensive aerial surveillance is essential.
It is a first demonstration of this technology to help interested customers to start a custom development with RFbeam.
