From 'the Tinder of eSIMs' to Intelligent Wearables: How Estonian Companies Are Making Devices Smarter

From ’the Tinder of eSIMs’ to Intelligent Wearables: How Estonian Companies Are Making Devices Smarter

Tallinn, 12 November 2024 – Estonian companies are set to showcase the next generation of IoT, automation, and intelligent manufacturing solutions at Electronica 2024 in Munich. From innovative smart wearables in sports and medicine to global eSIM, intelligent manufacturing, and tailor-made automation solutions, Estonian companies are helping to create more efficient, clever, and sustainable devices.

“Estonia’s Tech and Electronics sector is built on speed, agility, and resilience, making it an ideal ground for businesses looking to test and scale cutting-edge solutions,” says Arno Kolk of the Estonian Electronics Association.

“With a high efficiency, and 94% of electronics output exported, Estonian companies are trusted by some of the world’s biggest names across telecom, industrial, automotive, medical, aerospace, defense, and security sectors.”

The Estonian electronics innovators are ready to tackle global problems and propose solutions:

Now is the perfect time to innovate — whether by enhancing existing products or creating the next generation of electronic devices. With the next economic growth cycle starting, this is the crucial moment to prepare for the future,” comments Kaido Kevvai, CEO of Artec Design.

As to Taavi Jõgeva, Sales Director at 1oT, the electronics market holds significant potential for Estonian IoT solutions.

“The German IoT market is rapidly expanding, and new devices pop up daily, leading us towards Industry 4.0. Therefore, companies rely more on data-driven decision-making and connected devices that enhance operational efficiency and user experience,” remarks Jõgeva.

„At 1oT, we provide IoT companies seamless global connectivity that allows companies to focus on innovation while we handle the complexities of connectivity.”
