ams OSRAM is supporting future mobility concepts with integrated solutions for vehicles – from dynamic lighting systems that make the roads safer to advanced sensor solutions in vehicle interiors.

The EVIYOS^® LED system for state-of-the-art LED front lighting makes driving safer with its glare-free adaptive driving beam (ADB) and high-resolution projections of safety-relevant symbols directly on the road. Intelligent beam control is based on a dedicated ASIC and 25,600 individually controllable pixels. By projecting images such as warning symbols onto the road at night, the EVIYOS^® family of products helps improve communication between the vehicle and its environment.

ams OSRAM is also showcasing groundbreaking advances in capacitive sensors to provide a seamless user experience. With the proximity and touch/grip functionality of ams OSRAM technology, based on offset-free, low-noise, high-precision data acquisition front-end ICs, the doors are opening up to the next quasi-thought-driven generation.

ams OSRAM will be presenting present two new architectures for interior lighting using OSP (Open System Protocol), a STAR architecture based on the new stand-alone intelligent driver (SAID) and a GATEWAY architecture in which video images are transmitted in real time via ETHERNET/OSP gateways to 600 OSIRE^® E3731i RGB LEDs.
